This larger than life Ladybird will inject colour and a bit of fun into your flower borders!
Made using iridised and textured glass, it catches the light very well, even in the depths of winter when our native ladybirds are sheltering from the cold. The black spots are made from glass globs, as are the eyes. The stakes are frost proof and can be left out all year round, they are also very easy to re- locate around your garden to make a new focal point.
My Ladybirds are hand crafted from start to finish. The glass is cut from my pattern design and then all the edges are ground to make them smooth. Copper foil is then added to all the pieces and finally they are soldered together. As all stages are completed by hand, every bee will differ very slightly, giving them their own ‘ character’.
