This beautiful Light Sussex chicken is based on the small flock I have roaming around my garden!
The pattern from which the glass is cut, is designed by myself and so is unique. The streaky and iridised glass is a close representation to the markings I see on my chickens. Every one will look slightly different due to the fact they are all hand made and the streaky glass markings vary.
After the glass has been cut, the edges are ground to make them smooth and then copper foil is applied. Finally, the piece is soldered together to make the chicken and a hanging chain is added.
This chicken looks beautiful when hung up to catch the light, and would make the perfect present for a chicken lover!
