How can such a little bird have such a big voice? – is what always comes to mind when I hear them in the garden. They are always flitting about in the garden, and scurrying like mice between the pots.

Although they aren’t our most colourful of native birds, their distinctive outline with upturned tail, and brown speckled feathers, makes them a great subject to make in glass.
