This very pretty panel is created using a variety of glass types. The red hearts are very chunky globs of glass, the central square uses a ‘bevel’ to add depth to the piece. The burgundy and purple glass used is swirled and gives an individual look to every panel made. ‘Confetti’ glass is used in the squares next to the hearts. It has beautiful markings made up of dots and streaks and will also give every panel a unique appearance.
This panel is designed by myself and is hand crafted from start to finish. All the glass pieces are cut and the edges are ground smooth to which copper foil can be added. The pieces are then all arranged and soldered together. A hanging chain is then added, so it is ready to be displayed upon arrival.
The heart panel looks fabulous when displayed in a window or door, or just on a wall where you want to add interest.
