This gorgeous stained glass Blue Tit is hand crafted using blue, green and yellow shades of iridised glass to help catch the light . My choice of glass is inspired from the bright and instantly recognisable colours the Blue Tit possesses, and makes it stand out as one of Britain’s most popular garden birds.
I have designed the pattern for this bird to accurately reflect its markings in my work. Every piece of glass is cut, copper-foiled and soldered together by hand and so will differ very slightly in every bird.
The Blue Tit is mounted onto three green leaves and the base attaches to the stake. It can be moved around your garden very easily to fill in gaps or give you a different focal point throughout the year. The stakes can stay outside all year round.
