The charming and very cheeky Red Squirrel is sadly only seen in a few areas of Britain now. Their orangey – red fur looks stunning in the light. I have used a variety of heavily textured glass in deep amber shades to represent one of my favourite woodland animals.
All the pieces of the squirrel are hand cut, copper foiled and soldered together, because of this each one will differ very slightly and have its own personality. He is mounted on to a waxed wooden base ready to be displayed on a windowsill, shelf or mantel.
