This gorgeous stained glass Bulfinch is hand crafted using textured glass to give the appearance of actual feathers. My choice of glass is inspired from these bright and colourful characters that are sadly seldom seen now in Britain.
I have designed the pattern for this bird to accurately reflect its markings in my work. Every piece of glass is cut, copper-foiled and soldered together by hand and so will differ very slightly in every bird.
The Bulfinch is mounted onto three green leaves and the base attaches to the stake. It can be moved around your garden very easily to fill in gaps or give you a different focal point throughout the year. The stakes can stay outside all year round.
